Promag 3: our gondola solution for your sales area
Promag 3 gondolas are the ideal solution for showcasing your products and promotional offers. Available in single- or double-sided versions, in two heights and two depths, they adapt perfectly to the space available in your store, and their assembly system (via starting and following elements) allows you to create shelves of unlimited length. Their sheet-metal or perforated bottoms also offer great flexibility when it comes to displaying your products efficiently and aesthetically.
With a multitude of accessories such as shelves, fronts, partitions, wire baskets, single and double spindles, and label holders, Promag 3 gondolas let you customize your display according to your needs. Shelves can be tilted to facilitate viewing and picking of products on the upper level. Add Plexiglas fronts, stops and cross partitions for an even more visual and effective presentation of your products.
What is a gondola?
A gondola is a piece of display furniture used in stores to display and organize products intended for sale. Gondolas are generally made up of adjustable and modular shelves, enabling the presentation of products to be adapted to the needs and space available. Gondolas can be single- or double-sided, providing optimum merchandise presentation for customers.
How can I optimize storage in my store?
To optimize your storage space, consider solutions such as high-bay racking, mobile shelving or platform construction, taking into account your specific needs and the constraints of your warehouse. These solutions, combined with efficient storage methods (LIFO, FIFO...), will enable you to make optimum use of your warehouse or storage area.
What's the difference between fixed and mobile shelving?
Fixed racks are permanent structures, fixed to the floor and unable to be moved. Mobile racks, on the other hand, are mounted on rails and can be easily moved to optimize storage space. Mobile shelving is particularly suited to small spaces, while fixed shelving is more suitable for warehouses with sufficient space to accommodate permanent structures.
What type of racking should I use to store my palletized loads?
Several solutions exist for optimized storage of your palletized goods:
- Traditional pallet racking: this is the most common storage system, suitable for many types of pallet and offering direct access to each pallet.
- Dynamic pallet racking: this system uses inclined rollers to allow pallets to slide forward, offering better stock rotation and space optimization;
- Drive-in/drive-through pallet racking: ideal for mass storage of identical pallets, this type of racking saves considerable space by reducing aisle circulation;
- Pallet shuttle racking: a pallet shuttle is an automated storage and retrieval system used in warehouses. It consists of an autonomous vehicle (shuttle) that travels on rails within the racking aisles, transporting and positioning pallets in their storage location, thus optimizing space and efficiency of storage operations.
