Mobile shelving: for which archives?

Proroll mobile shelving is ideal for storing both living and dead archives:

• A dead archive is one that is rarely consulted, but must be preserved to meet legal obligations.
• A living archive is one that is consulted more regularly, and therefore requires a storage solution that facilitates consultation.

As the Proroll system replaces space dedicated to aisles with mobile storage, it is particularly well-suited to the storage of little-handled products such as archives.

Features of Proroll archive shelving

Proroll mobile shelving is a classic shelving system mounted on mobile carts that allow the shelving to be moved by means of a steering wheel attached to each row. It saves space and provides easy access to files. The Proroll archive shelving system increases storage capacity by moving the aisles, but not the people: only one aisle is needed.

An archiving system designed to save up to 80% space. With a depth of 362 mm and combined with Proclass office shelving, Proroll shelving becomes a highly efficient system for compacting archives: boxes, files or hanging folders. Storage volume is multiplied by 1.8.

This compact shelving system consists of carts that move on rails, either manually pushed or mechanically driven. The carts run on rails integrated into a levelling floor.
